A Certified Autism Specialist guides individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in effort that they may successfully transition through the stages of development.
Mission 1: School Districts: To help schools at the local level exceed IDEA compliance by providing added credentials to qualifying staff that specialize in autism. Schools can verify that they are hiring a CAS on our public search.
Mission 2: Insurance Policy Guidelines and Protection: To provide a national guideline for legislature committees and insurance policy committees for assurance that licensed professionals that bill for services are carried out by a CAS.

The CAS mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies that the professional has met the certification qualifications. The CAS mark represents and includes education, experience, career review and continuing education which enhances the individual's qualifications, advanced knowledge and practice.
