Autism Society Partnership with IBCCES

The Autism Society recently announced they will be partnering with the autism certification experts from the International Board of Credentialing & Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), to help facilitate and encourage the creation of much needed Certified Autism Specialists across the country.

With the increasing incidence of autism, it should come as no surprise that autism based organizations are challenged to develop new programs to meet the increasing training requirements for educators, licensed professionals and other caregivers of individuals with Autism.

The latest example comes from the Autism Society, the nation’s leading grassroots autism organization, with over 120,000 Autism Society members and supporters nationwide. The Autism Society is concerned about building the capacity to serve people with autism and is highly focused on creating ways to increase the quantity of qualified people working with autism.
